This article primarily explains how to install and uninstall FoneTool VirtualLocation on a Windows computer, and guides users through connecting an iOS device via a USB cable, trusting the computer, opening the device list, and verifying the device name, model, and iOS version.
Install FoneTool VirtualLocation on your Windows computer to change an iOS device location or simulate ollow the steps below to install or remove the application.
Step 1. Run the FoneTool VirtualLocation setup program.
Step 2. Click "Install Now" and follow the installation wizard to complete setup.
Step 3. Open FoneTool VirtualLocation from the Start menu or its desktop shortcut, if one was created.
Before uninstalling, cancel active movement, restore the device's real location, and close FoneTool VirtualLocation.
Use either of the following methods:
Method 1. Open Windows Settings > Apps, find "Installed apps" or "Apps & features", select FoneTool VirtualLocation, and choose "Uninstall".
Method 2. Open Control Panel > Programs and Features, select FoneTool VirtualLocation, and choose "Uninstall".
Follow the removal prompts to finish.
Tip: Uninstalling the Windows application does not replace the restore-location operation. Verify the real location on your iOS device before disconnecting it.
Step 1. Connect the device to your computer with a USB data cable. Unlock it and tap "Trust" if prompted.
Step 2. Select a feature, read and accept the disclaimer, and click "Enter". Click the phone icon on the right toolbar to open the Device List.
Step 3. Check the device name, model, and iOS version. Select the intended device and confirm the Current Device indicator.

Tip: If the device is not recognized, click the connection help link below the Device List. Reconnect the device, try another USB port or cable, or select "Repair Driver" from the title-bar menu and follow the prompts to repair the Apple components.
After installation, connect and trust your iOS device, then confirm the selected device before starting a location task. If you no longer need the software, stop any simulation, restore and verify the real location, close the program, and uninstall it through Windows Settings or Control Panel.
