Change Location sets your iOS device's GPS position to a selected point without simulating movement along a route. Use it when an app needs to receive a fixed virtual location for testing or a location-based activity.

Typical Use Cases

App development and testing. Set the device to a target city to check a local service rollout, nearby points of interest, or location-dependent content. Repeat the same test in another city to compare results. To test language adaptation, also configure the app or device language as needed.

Location privacy. Choose a nearby public landmark instead of your home when using social or dating apps that read the device location. Check what the app actually displays; changing GPS coordinates does not hide information supplied through your profile or other sources.

Regional content and events. Try a target location to check location-based event pages, local news, game registration offers, or time-limited rewards. Access may also depend on your account region, IP address, or service eligibility, so a GPS change alone does not guarantee access or change the app store region.

Location-based games. Select a resource or event location to explore how a game responds at that point without planning a journey. Virtual locations may violate game rules and can result in account restrictions; check the rules before use.

Preparation

• Install and open FoneTool VirtualLocation on your Windows PC.
• Connect your iOS device with a USB data cable. Unlock it and tap "Trust" if prompted.
• Keep the device connected throughout the operation. If several devices are connected, confirm the selected device before making changes.

Open Change Location

Step 1. Select "Change Location", read and accept the disclaimer, and click "Enter".

Choose and Apply a Location

Step 2. Click a point on the map, or enter an address or GPS coordinates in the search box and select a matching result.

Step 3. Review the address and coordinates in the location dialog. Edit or paste either value if needed, check the map marker, and click "Change Location" to apply the selection.

Confirm the Location Change

Step 4. The software checks the required components and automatically downloads and extracts any that are missing. Keep the computer online and the device connected and unlocked.

Step 5. When the success message appears, click "OK". Check the updated location in the left panel and in the app you are testing on the device.

Tip: If the operation fails, read the message and resolve the reported issue before clicking "Retry". Unlock the device if requested. If components are not ready, check your Internet connection and allow preparation to complete.

Restore the Real Location

Cancel any active movement before restoring the location. Click the circular-arrow control on the right toolbar, then check the current-location display and verify the real position in a location-aware app on your device.

In Change Location, you can also hover over the modified Current Location entry and click its remove control.

Other Settings

The toolbar on the right side of the map provides the following controls.

Device List. Click the phone icon on the right toolbar to view the device name, model, and iOS version. Select the device you want to use and check the Current Device indicator.

Favorites. Click the star beside Current Location to save the location. Click "Open Favorites" or the star on the right toolbar to view saved places and select one to use.

Center the map. Click the target-shaped icon to center the map on the device's current coordinates.

Zoom. Click the plus or minus button to zoom in or out. You can also use the mouse wheel.

Switch Map. Click the map button to switch between road and satellite views.

Summary

Change Location is suited to tasks that need one fixed virtual position. Select a place, apply the change, and verify it in the target app. Use Two-Spot Mode or Multi-Spot Mode when you need movement, and restore the real location when the session ends.
