Using the Virtual USB Drive feature in the Fonetool software, you can turn your iPhone into a portable USB storage device, enabling drag-and-drop functionality and direct storage of various file types on your iPhone. This allows you to carry your data with you and transfer it efficiently, breaking through the limitations of traditional iOS file management.

Prerequisites

Software Installation: Download and install the official Fonetool client on your computer (make sure the version is compatible with your current iOS system).

Device Connection: Connect your iPhone to your computer using the original charging cable, trust the device, and grant Fonetool access permissions.

Step 1: Launch FoneTool, and your device information will be displayed on the home page of the program. Click Data Explorer, which will take you to a new interface.

Step 2: In the left navigation bar, locate and click Virtual USB Drive to enter virtual USB drive mode. The easiest way is to use drag-and-drop: simply select the target file or folder on your computer and drag it to the /UFolder area on the right side of the software to quickly transfer it to your iPhone. Alternatively, you can click the import to Device button at the top and select and import files through the pop-up window.

Note:

Regularly clear space on your iPhone’s virtual USB storage to prevent transfer failures caused by insufficient storage (you can check storage usage in your iPhone’s “Settings > General > iPhone Storage”).

With Fonetool’s virtual USB driver feature, the iPhone can seamlessly replace a traditional USB flash drive, meeting the needs of scenarios such as mobile office work and cross-device collaboration.
